DSU Women’s Basketball plays in the Round of 16 today
The Dakota State University Trojan women’s basketball team continues their 2020-21 history-breaking season today as they play in the NAIA National Tournament Round of 16 in the Tyson Events Center in Sioux City, Iowa. The Round of 16 kicks off today and continues through tomorrow with the Elite Eight round on Saturday, Final Four round on Monday and the national championship game on Tuesday evening.
It will be the first time since 2008 that the Trojans have played in the Round of 16. Today the Lady Trojans, who are 26-3 on the year, will take on Sterling, Kansas who comes into the contest with a 30-0 overall record
DSU and Sterling have a combined 52-game winning streak, with the Trojans winning 22 straight games while the Warriors have won 30 consecutive games.
