DSU women’s and men’s cross-country collected awards from United States Track & Field and Cross Country Coaches Association

Dakota State women’s and men’s cross-country collected the team academic awards from United States Track & Field and Cross Country Coaches Association (USTFCCCA).  The women’s team records a grade point average of 3.187, while the men’s team registers a GPA of 3.153.

Students-athletes must have a cumulative GPA of at least 3.25 on a 4.0 scale and qualify for the national championship meet.

Overall, there were 176 women and 142 men runners who were named All-Academic individuals in the NAIA.

Dakota State tallied a total of six student-athletes on the USTFCCCA Cross-Country All-Academic award.  

Jacia Christiansen a Senior majoring in Professional Accountancy 

 Alex Derr – Senior  finishing his  Masters in Computer Science 

Matthew Dunn – Senior  majoring in Computer Science. 

Joshua Krull – Sophomore in Cyber Operations 

Taylor Myers – Freshman majoring in Cyber Operations 

Evan Slominski – Sophomore majoring in Cyber Operations
