DSU Volleyball’s Season Ends in Opening Round of NAIA Tournament
Dakota State Volleyball had their season end on Saturday as #18 Grand View moved on in the NAIA national tournament. The Vikings eliminated the Trojans 3-1. Grand View barely won the first two sets (26-24, 25-22) and DSU fought back to win the third set (25-20). Dakota State was eliminated in the final set, losing 25-10. The Trojans had a season-high 18 blocks in the match. Maddie Polzin had four blocks and nine digs. Peyton Groft had 17 digs. Volleyball ends the year at 21-9 which is the best winning percentage in a single season in the Amy Veenhof era.
