DSU Trojan cross country teams competing in the NAIA Cross Country National Championships
The Dakota State University Trojan cross country teams are competing in the 2020 NAIA Cross Country National Championships this morning, returning to action for the first time since Nov. 2020.
Dakota State will be sending the men’s cross country team to represent the North Star Athletic Association after winning the conference team title for the third consecutive year. DSU will also send Jacia Christiansen and Jada Anderson as they qualified for the national meet individually after placing in the top four from the non-winning team at the NSAA conference meet last November at the Madison Country Club in west side of Madison.
The meet will be hosted by Mount Mercy in Cedar Rapids, Iowa. The 41st annual women’s 5K national race kicks off at 10:30 a.m., while the 65th annual men’s 8K race is set to start at 11:30 a.m.
