Dakota State Track & Field competed this weekend at the two-day USD Invite. Treshawn Roberts totaled 4,438 points in the Heptathlon, breaking the school record and hitting the provisional mark for the National Meet. Braden Curnow captured the title in the 3,000 meter race, setting the school record with a time of eight minutes 28.57 seconds. Max Cruse took fifth in the 3,000 meter, setting a personal best. Both Curnow and Cruse qualified for the National Meet with their times.

A few highlights on the Womens side includes: Abbie Strasser placed fifth in the 60-meter dash, Jennifer Giles was fifth in the 600 meter run and Jada Anderson, Madison Whitcomb, Mallory Aughenbaugh and Ashly Robinson teamed up to take third place in the distance medley relay. Their time of 13 minutes 1.28 seconds is the fifth fastest time in school history.

DSU will return to South Dakota State this weekend for their final meet of the indoor regular season. Events begin on Friday and conclude on Saturday.
