Two Dakota State runners competed on the second day of the NAIA Indoor Track & Field National Championships on the campus of Mount Marty on Thursday.  DSU is the host of the national indoor track & field event for the third straight year.  

SenQuavius Johnson, making his first appearance at the NAIA Indoor Track and Field Nationals, competed in the 60 meter dash and finished seventh fastest in the field of 16 runners and advanced to Saturday’s finals.

Alex Derr made his fourth trip to the National Championships.  He ran in the 800-meter run and advanced to the 800-meter finals on Saturday.  

Today, Traia Hubbard will be competing for DSU in the throwing events.
