DSU Softball Splits Doubleheader with Bellevue
The Dakota State softball team extended their winning streak to three games after holding off Bellevue 4-2 in the first game of a doubleheader Thursday afternoon at Thue Field. The Bruins answered with an 11-1 five-inning victory in the second game to earn a doubleheader split.
Dakota State is now 13-24 overall and 7-13 in the league, concluding their six-game home stand with a 3-3 record. The Trojans will be on the road for their final North Star Athletic Association four-game series. DSU visits Dickinson State on Saturday and Sunday. The doubleheader starts at 2:30 p.m. Central Time on Saturday and 1 p.m. (CT) on Sunday.
DSU Baseball will also be in North Dakota for a four game series with Dickinson State. Saturday’s doubleheader starts at 2pm and Sunday’s has first pitch set for 1pm.
