In the first game of the McPherson, Kansas Softball Tournament  Xitlali Lopez tossed a no-hitter, despite issuing a walk, to fuel Dakota State (S.D.) to an 8-0 five-inning victory over Bethel (Kan.) in the shorten McPherson (Kan.) Softball Tournament 

In the final game  of the tournament  Dakota State (S.D.) was unable to hold on to their 3-0 lead with Langston (Okla.) yesterday.  Langston went on to score nine unanswered runs before the Trojans rallied back with three runs in the final innings, holding on to a 9-6 victory.

Dakota State wrapped up their week in the state of Kansas with an overall record of 6-10. 

The next action for the softball team will be  March 27-28 as they open their North Star Athletic Association conference schedule.  The Trojans are scheduled to host Valley City State at Thue Softball Complex, with doubleheader on each day. Â
