After a fairly successful day one in Arizona for DSU Softball and Baseball, day two saw different results. Lady T’s Softball dropped a pair of games and Trojan Baseball fell to Morningside.

Dakota State lost 12-2 to both Number 14 Olivet Nazarene and St. Francis on Tuesday, halting their modest two-game win streak. Lady T’s could only muster two hits versus Olivet and committed six errors. St. Francis got out to a hot start in the second game, leading 9-0 after two innings.

Trojan Baseball could not keep up with GPAC foe Morningside, as the Mustangs routed DSU 16-2 on Tuesday Afternoon. The loss dropped Dakota State Baseball to 6-7 on the season. Both DSU Softball and Baseball have today off and will return to action Thursday.
