DSU outdoor track & field teams are competing in the two-day Red Raider Invitational

The Dakota State University Trojan women’s and men’s outdoor track & field teams will continue their action in the state of Iowa for the third consecutive weekend as they  compete in the two-day Red Raider Invitational on the campus of Northwestern in Orange City, Iowa.

The meet is in conjunction with the North Star Athletic Association Outdoor Track & Field Multi-Events Championships on Friday and Saturday.  Shaylee DeDeer is scheduled to compete in the heptathlon, which is set to start on Friday at 1:10 p.m. and continues on Saturday at 9 a.m.  

The two-day track & field meet also kicks off with the hammer throw on Friday afternoon at 2 p.m. with the long distance events starting at 5:30 p.m.  The full day of events are scheduled for Saturday at 11 a.m. with the shot put, discus, high jump, triple jump, long jump, while the running events are set to start at 1 p.m. with the 100-meter dash prelims.
