Hosting Peru State (Nebraska) on Saturday evening, the Trojans of Dakota State could not put the visitors away, dropping a 67-65 contest on lay up at the buzzer. The Bobcats mounted a furious comeback in the final three minutes of the game with a 10-2 outburst, including the winning bucket. Peru State led early in the first half before DSU took over and held a seven point lead at the break. The Trojans kept their visitors at arm’s length for most of the second half, but shot under 30 percent in the final 20 minutes.

A trio of players scored in double figures for the Trojans, who out-rebounded the visitors but shot just 50 percent from the free throw line. DSU Men will host Dordt tonight in a game that was rescheduled from earlier this season.
