Dakota State Football will warp up the fall portion of their season tonight, traveling to take on the Comets of Mayville State University. DSU sits at 2-5 after last Saturday’s home loss to Valley City State, 14-6. Mayville has a 1-4 record but has not played since October 24th, a win over Presentation. The Trojans lead the all-time series 17-14 and have won four straight over the Comets, including last year’s victory at Berg Field (35-14).

DSU rotated a pair of freshman quarterbacks last week versus VCSU and coach Josh Anderson said he was pleased with what he saw in the game and after watching film.

Mayville State is led by first-year Head Coach Rocky Larson. Coach Larson knows that they have to continue to improve in all facets of the game and once the team sees that the work that is being put in and paying off, that’s when you build.

Kickoff for tonight’s game is set for 5pm in Mayville, North Dakota. You can catch the action on FM103.
