DSU Baseball splits with Valley City State
The Dakota State Baseball Team earned another doubleheader split with Valley City State on Monday at Flynn Field. The Trojans held off a late comeback by Valley City in the final inning of the first game, collecting a 12-11 victory. Valley City closed the series by rallying back with four runs in the series finale with a 9-7 come from behind win. Â
Dakota State is now 9-9 overal and 2-2 in the NSAA. Â
The Trojan’s nine inning non-conference game against Mount Marty for today has been postponed due to cold weather.. DSU is next scheduled to travel to Dakota Wesleyan on Wednesday for a 5pm game at Cadwell Park.
