DSU Baseball Comeback Falls Short

Trailing 8-4 in the final inning of a nine-inning game at Caldwell Park Wednesday evening, Dakota State baseball plated three runs to attempt a comeback but fell short to Dakota Wesleyan by the score of 8-7.  

Both teams were 9-10 overall after the game.  It was the first meeting between DSU and DWU since March 22, 2016.

The DSU baseball team will look to get back in the win column as they resume their North Star Athletic Association action Friday and Saturday.  The Trojans visit Waldorf for a four-game series in Forest City, Iowa,first pitch of the doubleheader on Friday is at 1 p.m. The doubleheader on Saturday is set to get underway at 12 p.m.
