Using a tenacious defense and opportunistic offense, the Dakota State Women’s Basketball team blew out Trinity Bible College last night 108-37. A few missed shots early was quickly forgotten as DSU led 29-7 after the first quarter and 57-22 at halftime. The visiting Lions had a hard time holding onto the basketball, turning the ball over 33 times and Dakota State turned that into 53 points off of turnovers. Everyone who saw time on the court scored for the Trojans, who also placed six in double-digits led by Lindsey Vogl with 19 points.

DSU shot 61% overall in the game and 50% from beyond the arc. It was the second straight win on the year, improving their record to 2-4 and will have a light break with their next game scheduled for Tuesday, November 26th at Dordt University.Â
