Dakota State Basketball picked up a sweep of Dickinson State at the DSU Fieldhouse on Saturday, as the Women won 87-48 and the Men 81-56. For the Lady T’s, a 31-13 scoring output in the first quarter and contributions up and down the line-up carried them to their eighth straight win. Five players scored in double-digits for DSU, led by 14 points off the bench from Cheylee Nagel. The Lady T’s improved their record to 12-3 on the season and 4-0 in NSAA play.

On the Men’s side of things, a back and forth affair over the first 15 minutes turned into a dominant victory for the Trojans. DSU pulled away in the final five minutes of the first half for a 40-30 lead at the break. They would slowly build upon their lead in the second half, topping out at a 27 point spread late in the contest. Josh McGreal had a season high 33 points and Jordan Lynn contributed 13 points off the bench for the Trojans. The win snapped a five game losing streak and moved Dakota State to 2-2 in NSAA play.

DSU Men will be back in action tonight in non-conference play at Trinity Bible College in Ellendale, North Dakota.
