Dakota State Basketball wrapped up their road trip weekend on Saturday, splitting a pair of games at Viterbo University in La Crosse, Wisconsin. The Lady T’s extended their winning streak to 10 games with a 73-66 win. DSU led for the vast majority of the game, shooting 50 percent from the floor, but the V-Hawks kept things tight throughout by knocking down 10 three-pointers. Morgan Koepsell had a double-double with 10 points and 14 rebounds for Dakota State, who improved to 6-0 in NSAA play (marking their best start since joining the conference) and 14-3 overall.

On the back end Saturday, the host V-Hawks used a 15-0 run in the second half to pull away from the Trojans. A tight game at half-time, Viterbo led by 2, became a one-sided affair with the outburst. Dakota State was held to 39 percent shooting and outscored 36-10 in the paint. Giarges Daow scored 15 points and was the lone Trojan in double-digits. DSU dropped to 6-10 and 4-3 in NSAA play.

DSU Women return to action on Tuesday, a make-up game at Presentation, while the Men are back this weekend.
