Earlier this summer, the NAIA announced that fall sports was a go, with start dates being pushed back. This past week, it was announced that fall championships were moved to the spring. So schools who are opting to participate in sports this fall will have regular seasons and conference tournaments, but then will have to wait until details are ironed out for national tournaments. Dakota State Cross Country Head Coach Anthony Drealan addressed the news.

Coach Drealan does say it’s an ease on the mind, knowing there will be a fall regular season and the athletes feel that way too.
