Dakota State Cross Country Competes in NAIA Championship

The Dakota State men’s cross country team competed in the NAIA Cross Country National Championships yesterday in Vancouver, WA. The team finished 34th after totaling 940 points. A total of 330 runners participated in the event. Taylor Myers was the highest placed Trojan, finishing 175th at a time of 27:22.4. Evan Slominski followed up with a 238th finish at 27:59.7. The team had five more runners place in the top 300.

Representing the DSU women’s cross country team, Jacia Christiansen placed 206th out of 338 runners,  finishing her cross country career at DSU at 20:29.2. This was her third straight NAIA Women’s Cross-Country National Championships appearance.

This event wrapped up the cross country season.
