Dakota State Basketball picked up a pair of victories on Thursday night in NSAA Conference Semifinal play, as the Women won at home versus Mayville State and the Men won on the road at Mayville State!

The Lady T’s forced 33 turnovers and shot 45 percent from the floor, on their way to a 72-55 win. Number 14 DSU outscored the visiting Comets 42-24 in the mid-two quarters to propel them to victory. It was the 20th straight win, as Savannah Walsdorf and Shaylee DeBeer combined for 23 points off the bench.

On the Men’s Side, a late foul gave Dakota State an opportunity at the free-throw line and the visiting Trojans cashed in, winning a thrilling 66-65 over Mayville State. It was the second straight road win in the NSAA Men’s Tournament for DSU, as they punched their ticket to the championship game.

Much like Thursday evening, Saturday will have a match-up of the same teams in their respective championships. The DSU Men will be on the road versus Bellevue and the Women will host Bellevue.
