Dakota State Basketball in NSAA Quarterfinal Action

The Dakota State Men’s Basketball team saw their season come to a close on Tuesday night, as they fell to Mayville State in NSAA Quarterfinal action. Taking on the Comets for the third time this season, the Trojans came up short in a 74-59 loss. Mayville took command of the game with a 24-8 run over the final ten minutes of the first half and led 44-24 at halftime. Dakota State outscored Mayville State 35-30 in the second half. Josh McGreal led DSU with 18 points on the night and AJ Costello returned from injury to pour in 16 points and grab eight rebounds. DSU Men ended their season with an 8-23 record.

The Lady T’s will open up NSAA Quarterfinal play on the Women’s side tonight as they host Dickinson State University. Tip off is slated for 7pm from the DSU Fieldhouse and action can be heard on FM103 and amazingmadison.com. Dakota State, enjoying one of their best seasons in recent history, will look to advance to tournament action in Watertown this weekend as they welcome in the Blue Hawks to Madison for the second time this season.
