5th Annual Ag Bowl Begins DSU Football Season

Dakota State Football will begin their highly anticipated season today, welcoming in the five-time defending NSAA Champs in Dickinson State University. The NSAA is playing a conference only schedule this Fall, so both teams will come fresh. Last season, Dickinson State defeated the Trojans in Madison 31-14, a game that saw the Blue Hawks dominate the second half.

Dakota State returns nine starters on the defensive side and a host of players on the offensive side. Kickoff from Trojan field is set for 2pm and the pregame gets underway about 30 minutes beforehand. You can catch DSU Football all fall on FM103.

Today is also the 5th annual Ag Bowl, events will include a tailgate meal, skydivers, raffles and fun for the entire family. Tailgating begins at 11:30 on the east side of Trojan Field – The meal includes pork loin sandwiches, hot dogs, chips, cookies and beverages. The Mustang Seeds ‘Chuck Wagon Cooker’, provided by Terry Schultz, will prepare all the food.
