DSU Offense Ready To Roll

In the last five years, the DSU Football team has posted their top five score seasons of all time with 2017 (426 points) leading the way. The 2019 Trojan Offense would like to continue that trend, and they have the pieces to do so. Senior Running Back Brodie Frederikson, who set the single season rushing record last year, will be called upon once again to carry the load. Frederickson isn’t too worried about personal achievements, however..

Another key returner for the DSU Offense is Sophomore Quarterback Torren Devericks. Devericks passed for 2100 yards and 15 touchdowns. With a year under his belt, Devericks is looking forward to the season…

One of the bigger questions for the offense of DSU is who will step up at the wide receiver position. Mason Leighton transferred to Brookings this past winter and so gone was last years leading receiver. Coach Anderson and crew will hope a few candidates emerge in fall camp, to help with a more balanced offense.

Don’t forget, opening-game of the season for DSU Football is Thursday, August 29th versus Dakota Wesleyan at home. Catch DSU Football all fall on Jammin Country 103.
