DSU Defense

We continue our discussion on Dakota State Football today. We will hear from two of the defensive returners who will look to carry over their strong play from last season. First up is Senior Defensive Lineman John Trout. Trout, who is a nominee for the AllState Good Works Team, tallied 92 total tackles last year with 8 for loss. He talks about being a leader by example…

Another defensive returner from last season is Madison’s own Marcus Vanden Bosch, a Junior Linebacker. Vanden Bosch tallied 97 total tackles last year (seven for loss) and had two picks for the Trojans. Here is Marcus quickly reflecting on the community support for himself and his teammates.

Both Trout and Vanden Bosch will look to excel the defense this fall for the Trojans, who will look to shore up some of their open spots in preparation for the upcoming season.
