West Central Baseball Defeats McCook Central

The West Central Trojans baseball team  jumped out to an early lead over McCook Central and took home a 9-5 victory on Wednesday. Ryan Healy  was on the mound for West Central. The righthander lasted two innings, allowing four hits and two runs while striking out two and allowing no walks..

Gavin Gordon took the loss for McCook Burros. The righty went five innings, allowing seven runs on eight hits and striking out two.

West Central  racked up 11 hits. Zach Madsen, Healy, Grafton Stroup and Loren Jacobson  all collected multiple hits for the Trojans.

McCook Burros tallied nine hits. Bobby Koepsell, Jackson Remmers, Joe Loudenburg, and Avery Feterl all managed multiple hits for McCook Burros.

West Central will next be in action on Wednesday as they host Baltic in Humboldt.

McCook has a pair of games this weekend as they host Parkston on Saturday and travel to Flandreau on Sunday to take on Chester/Colman-Egan/Flandreau.
