Two Madison Teams Meet in VFW 16U Class A Region 2 Tournament

Madison Black allowed one run to Madison White in a 13-1 blowout win. Jared Kennington had three hits and three RBIs. Jovi Wolf had a hit with three runs batted in and he scored twice. Lucas Johnson allowed five hits and one run in five innings.

Dell Rapids earned a win against Tea, but lost to Volga 12-5 in the losers bracket. The win earned Volga a spot to play against Madison White, and the winner will meet Madison Black to play for the Class A Region 2 Championship.

Other area teams that play today are Salem and Canova. They play today for the Class B Region 5 Championship, with a game tomorrow if necessary. Also today, Flandreau will play Parker in the Class B Region 5 Tournament, with the winner moving on to play Baltic in the championship.
