The 2022 Region Coaches of the Year Have Been Released
The 2022 Region Coaches of the Year were released earlier this week by the South Dakota Basketball Coaches Association.
Flandreau boys basketball head coach Brendan Sheppard was selected as the North East Region Two Coach of the Year. The Fliers finished the 2021-22 season 20-5 and finished fourth in the Class A State Tournament. Sheppard was tied with Mark Amdahl of Summit for the award for the region.
DeSmet girls Head coach Brendon Pitts and Sioux Valley boys assistant coach Buster Vincent were also honored for the same region.
