SD VFW 10U State Championships

This past weekend, the SD VFW 10U State Championships wrapped up with the Madison Baseliners winning the 10U Class A Tournament and Bon Homme winning the 10U Class B Tournament.

The Madison Baseliners entered the tournament in Madison as the three seed, and played their first game Sunday morning against the Dell Rapids 9s team, winning by double-digits 11-1. They then went on to win their matchup against the (2) Dell Rapids 10s 6-1.

Moving onto the championship game, the Madison Baseliners faced off against the (1) Lennox, and won the championship with a final score of 4-2.

In the Class B tournament in Salem, Bon Homme faced a similar path to a championship as the Madison Baseliners did, first (6) Emery 2-1 Sunday afternoon, before beating the number (2) Britton 2-1.

In the championship game for Bon Homme, runs were easy to get versus (8) Canova, winning the championship 15-7.
