The Howard Tigers Boys Basketball team saw their season come to an unexpected end on Tuesday night, as they fell to seventh seeded Sanborn Central/Woonsocket 57-52 in Region 4B Basketball. Howard, the number two seed, led for much of the contest after an early deficit – but had a hard time controlling SC/W’s Noah Dickson.

Enjoying one of their best seasons in recent history, the Tigers were never able to put together runs – allowing the visiting Blackhawks to keep pace. Howard ends their season at 16-5 while SC/W is at 12-10. The Blackawks will move on and face off against Colman-Egan on Friday at the Corn Palace in a SoDak 16 qualifier.
