Salem Slides Past Madison Black

With the game knotted at one, Salem got a two-run double in the fourth inning and made that hold up in a 3-1 win versus Madison Black on Monday night. Gavin Gordon pitched a complete game one hitter for Salem, striking out eight and walking two. Jared Kennington had the lone hit for Madison Black, who also used a trio of pitchers in the contest. The loss dropped Black to 3-5 on the season.
