The 2020 NFL Draft wrapped up this weekend, being held virtually for the first time. Neither South Dakota State or University of South Dakota had a player drafted, but SDSU did have three who signed as undrafted free agents. Running Back Mikey Daniels signed with the Atlanta Falcons, Linebacker Christian Rozeboom signed with the Los Angeles Rams and Fullback Luke Sellers signed with Detroit.

Meanwhile, Warner native Derrek Tuszka, defensive end from NDSU, was drafted by the Denver Broncos with the 254th pick in the draft. Tuszka was the 2019 Missouri Valley Defensive Player of the Year and was a First Team All-American.
