Monday Night 16U Baseball in I-29 League

Monday night featured another round of 16U Baseball in the I-29 league, with five games being played to start off the week.

The Madison Gold team traveled down to play Dell Rapids, and wound up beating Dell Rapids 10-4. Meanwhile, Baltic hosted the Tea Bolts and the home team got the win, with Baltic shutting out the Tea Bolts 3-0.  

In a close game, Flandreau was home against the Madison White team, and Flandreau prevailed in the tight game winning 8-7. Tea Gold’s win over Hamlin was not as close, with runs coming easily for Tea Gold helping them to win 15-5. 

Tri-Valley went to Volga, but a score was not shared. 

The 16U teams got a couples day rest, but will be back in action tomorrow with six games on the schedule. Games start at 4pm with Baltic playing Madison White in Baughman/Belatti Field and Dell Rapids playing Flandreau at Flynn Field with West Central Valley playing Tri-Valley right after. Hamlin also plays the Tea Bolts directly after Baltic and Madison White at Baughman/Belatti Field. 

Dell Rapids Navy will head to play Elkton at the Elkton City Ball Park around 5:30.

Baughman/Belatti Field and Flynn Field will have another late game following the 5:30 games, with Madison Gold taking on Parker in Baughman/Belatti Field and Volga playing Tea Gold at Flynn Field.
