MCM Girls Pull Away From Dell Rapids

After a tight first half on Tuesday night, the Fighting Cougars of McCook Central/Montrose slowly pulled away from Dell Rapids for a 56-41 win in Class A girls basketball. After being knotted at 10 points through eight minutes, MCM outscored Dells 32-20 over the next two quarters and held the double-digit lead throughout the fourth quarter. Madisen Koepsell had 26 points for the Fighting Cougars, to lead all scorers. MCM, now 5-1, will host Beresford in Montrose on Friday.
