McCook Central Montrose heading to the State “A”

The season continues for the McCook Central/Montrose girls basketball team.  They traveled to Kadoka last night to take on Hill City in SoDak 16 action and  came away with a 41-39 victory.   

The Fighting Lady Cougars are now headed to the State “A” Girls Basketball Tournament in Watertown as the #8 seed.  Their first game will be at Noon on Thursday March 11th as the face #1 Seeded St. Thomas More.    KJAM will be following the McCook Central/Montrose thru the State “A” Tournament.  You can hear those games on Jammin’ Country 103 and online at AmazingMadison.com

Other State “A”  first round pairing have #4 Aberdeen Roncalli and  #5 SF Christian meeting up in the 2 pm game.   The first game of the evening session have #2 Winner taking on #7 Dakota Valley and the final game of the day pairs #3 Hamlin with #6 Belle Fourche.

The State “A” Girls Basketball Tournament will take place March 11 -13th in Watertown.
