Madison Maroon Remains Unblemished

Trey Smith drove in a pair of runs and two pitchers limited Flandreau to two hits, helping Madison Maroon pick up the 4-1 win at Baughman/Belatti Park. Nathan Ricke started on the mound for Madison, going five innings and did not allow a hit. He did strike out 10 batters and walked seven. Maroon scored one run in the first and three more in the third, the lone run for Flandreau came in the fifth inning.

With the win, Madison Maroon remains undefeated on the season (9-0). Their upcoming schedule includes Lake Norden at home on Saturday, facing off against the Madison Black squad next Monday and Canova 16U on the 15th of the month.
