Madison Boys Host MCM in Region 5A Action.

It will be the second night in-a-row that Madison and McCook Central/Montrose will square off in a SoDak 16 qualifier. Last night it was the Girls and tonight it will be the Boys. Unlike last night’s game, tonight will be a rematch from a game that was played earlier this season. Although not originally on the schedule but due to cancellations, the Bulldogs and Fighting Cougars squared off on January 30th, with Madison coming away with a 70-43 win.

The Madison Boys have not played since last Monday night and took a few days last week, before focusing on tonight’s contest. MCM defeated Mt. Vernon/Plankinton on Tuesday night, 54-51 in double overtime in first round action of the Region 5A playoffs. With the rest, the Bulldogs will look to come out fast and Coach Jeff Larsen agrees.
