Lady Bulldogs Fall In Quarterfinals

For the third time this season, the Chargers of Sioux Falls Christian defeated the Madison Lady Bulldogs in Volleyball, with Thursday’s match-up coming in quarterfinal action of the Class A State Tournament. SFC won in straight sets via scores of 25-11, 25-12 and 25-21. The first two sets saw the Chargers build up leads in the middle of the sets and really controlled the match. The third and decisive set was much tighter but ultimately Sioux Falls Christian closed the door on the day.

Sophia Vanden Bosch had 13 kills and 9 digs, Abby Brooks chipped in 9 kills and Kylie Krusemark finished with 24 assists. The Lady Bulldogs will be back in action today, as they will play Winner in consolation semifinal action. First serve is set for noon and the pregame about 30 minutes beforehand, on AM1390.
