Last weekend was Kids Night at the I-90 Speedway in Hartford with Paramount Racing Series. There were four different classes of cars, with 17 or more entries for each class. The classes that took the track were the IMCA RaceSaver Sprint Cars, Late Model Street Stocks, USRA B-Modifieds, and the USRA Hobby Stocks.
Leading the way for the IMCA RaceSaver Sprint Cars was Dusty Ballenger from Harrisburg, followed by Madison’s Nate Barger in second place. Cory Yeigh from Sioux Falls won first for the Late Model Street Stocks.
In racing for the USRA B-Modified, Dustin Kruse of Brandon went home the winner for the A Feature, followed by Camden Meyers of Ethan and then Miah Christensen, Brock Hess, and Dave Kennedy all from Sioux Falls. All of the Top Five finishers for the race started no better than the eighth position. Doug Wallis from Madison won the B Feature for the USRA B-Modifieds.
After starting in tenth, Levi Vander Weide of Sioux Falls won again in the USRA Hobby Stocks races. Vander Weide last won the USRA Hobby Stocks earlier this month on June 11th.
