Dell Rapids Wins 2021 SDHSBA Class B Championship

Dell Rapids won the 2021 South Dakota High School Baseball Association Class B Tournament, beating West Central 9-2 yesterday. West Central had three of their four total hits and scored two runs in the first inning, but Dell Rapids scored five runs in the fifth inning with pitching shutting down West Central the rest of the game. Landon Ruesink drove in four in the win. Dell Rapids previously won the state championship in 2017. Dell Rapids made it to the final with a 1-0 walkoff win in the eight innings against Dakota Valley. West Central moved on to the final game with a 9-4 win over Vermillion.
