The Colman-Egan Hawks Boys started the season very slow, but it is about how you finish in Sports and the Hawks are headed to the Class B Boys SoDak 16. They led by double digits for most of the second half over Sanborn Central/Woonsocket, coming away with a 49-42 win at the World’s Only.

The Hawks used a solid defense to hold the Blackhawks at bay for most of the game. C-E only turned the ball over six times in the contest, moving their record to 11-11 on the season. Ty Hiller had 15 points in the game and Dalton Voelker added 13. Voelker became the all-time leading scorer in Hawks history on the night.

Colman-Egan will match up with DeSmet on Tuesday night at the Corn Palace, with a 7pm tip off.
