The 2019 South Dakota State High School Championship games get underway today from Dana J Dykehouse Stadium in Brookings. Four games are scheduled for today, starting with Britton-Hecla versus Canistota-Freeman in the 9A game at 11am – followed by Viborg-Hurley and Bon Homme in 9AA. Scheduled for 4:30pm is the 9B game featuring Colman-Egan and Herried/Selby Area and the night-cap is the 11A game with Lennox vs. Canton.

We will have coverage of the 9B game this afternoon, with the pregame scheduled to get underway around 4:10pm and kick-off to follow. Colman-Egan comes into the contest with an 11-0 record on the year, having their biggest test to date on the season last Friday night in a 46-36 win over Wolsey-Wessington. Meanwhile, Herreid/Selby Area comes in at 9-2 on the season and have won all of their playoff games on the road.
