Colman Egan, Chester Area, Arlington Earn Awards During Day One of State Track & Field Meet

A number of area schools had athletes find the podium during the first day of the State Track & Field Meet. The Colman-Egan girls took first place in the 3200 meter relay, followed closely by Chester Area who finished 2nd. Hadley Carlson of Arlington took first place in the Class B Girls High Jump. 

The Chester girls qualified with the fastest time for the finals in the Sprint Medley Relay. Chester also had the best time in the Boys 400 meter relay prelims. Colman-Egan girls qualified with the best time in the girls 400 meter relay. 

With 10 team points, Colman-Egan and Arlington are tied for 1st place in the Class B Girls team standings after the first day of competition.
