Chester Track and Field Competed in Scott Underwood Invitational at SDSU Yesterday

Competing in the Scott Underwood Track & Field Invitational at SDSU yesterday, the Chester boys placed fifth and the girls placed eighth.

Jovi Wolf broke the meet record in the 100-meter dash, finishing at 11.28 seconds. Wolf, along with Ryan Benson, Max McGreevy, and Stratton Eppard, took third in the 4 x 400-meter dash at a time of 3:37.61. Benson also placed first in 110-meter hurdles (15.61) and 300-meter hurdles (41.45).

Emery Larson finished in the top five of two individual events. Larson placed third in the 400-meter dash at 63.36 seconds and had a time of 2:26.43 for a fifth place finish in the 800-meter run. Larson, with Emmerson Eppard, Addison Bates, and Jacy Wolf, took fourth in the 4 x 400-meter, clocking in at 4:24.76.

The Flyers have two more meets this week: the Bridgewater-Emery Invitational on Thursday, April 7th and Jesse James Invitational in Garretson on Saturday, April 9th.
