Chester hosted the Tom Main Invitation Saturday

Saturday Chester hosted the Tom Main Invitation.   The Chester boys’ team scored 148 points and finished runner-up to champion Tri-Valley.  The Chester girls’ team finished in 4th place with 86 points.  22 personal records were achieved, several top finishes, and one meet record was broken.  

For the Boys 

Ryan Benson placed first in both the 110 m hurdles & 300 m hurdles with a new meet record of 41.1 seconds in the 300 m hurdles.   Jovi Wolf finished first in the 100 m & 200 m dash with Alex Van Egdom finished 2nd in the 200 m dash

In the 400 m dash – Stratton Eppard finished 1st . The 4 x 400 m relay team of  Ryan Benson, Max McGreevy, Stratton Eppard, Jovi Wolf finished first. 

The 4 x 200 m relay and the Medley Relay teams both finished 2nd.  

 In the  field events Stratton Eppard placed first in the discus with Ryan Benson placing first in the High Jump with Max McGreevy placing 3rd.

On the girls side

Emmerson Eppard finished first in the 1600 m run.  In the 800 M run Eppard came in 2nd.  

In the 400 m dash, Emery Larson placed 3rd with the 4 x 400 Relay team finishing 3rd. In the field events Lexi Siemonsma placed first in the discus with Jade Becker taking a first place finish in the shot put.  Addison Bates placed 3rd in the High Jump

The Flyers Track team  will be at the Terry Bong Invitational on Thursday, April 29th, followed by Howard Wood Relays on April 30th and May 1st.
