Canova’s Offense Helps 14U and 16U Earn Wins Against Corsica

Both Canova 14U and 16U earned victories against Corsica last night.

Canova 14U and Corsica had six hits, but Canova ended up with the win 6-3. The first five hitters of the lineup each recorded a hit in the victory. The team got runs off of a few hits, but also a wild pitch, a walk, and a pass ball. Carson Hinker struck out four in five innings on the mound.

The 16U has now nine straight wins to start the summer season with a 12-4 win. Only playing four and a half innings, Canova scored in each inning, including five runs each in the second and third inning. Jevyn Sifore had two hits and was one of three hitters with three RBIs. Jackson Remmers pitched five innings and struck out seven. 

Both Canova teams will play Salem/Montrose 16U Teeners on Sunday.
