Canova 14U and 16U Earn Wins on Monday

Both Canova 14U and 16U got wins against Alexandria on Monday. The 14U team only allowed one hit in the 16-1 win. Calvin Halverson drove six of the runs and also scored twice. Conner Endorf was right behind, plating home four. Carson Hinker was the winning pitcher, going three innings, allowing only one run and striking out six.

In the 16U game, Kolt Koepsell drove in the winning runs in the 8-6 win. Logan Mentele had three hits and three RBIs and Griffin Clubb got the win, pitching four innings and striking out eight.

Canova 14U plays SDVFW 14U Canistota Freeman and Canova 16U plays Scotland, both games happen on Friday, June 11.
