Area Wrestling From Saturday, January 25th

McCook Central/Montrose, Howard and Chester Area competed Saturday at the Parkston Little B Wrestling Tournament. MCM placed third as a team, Howard was fifth and Chester 14th. 

The Fighting Cougars were led by Blake Gessner capturing the title at 170, Jackson Remmers second at 126, Cade Entwistle second at 195, Jacobi Krouse at 182 and Carter Randall third at 132. The Tigers had Kieffer Klinkhammer captured the title at 132, Lane Miller at 138, John Callies second at 152 and Riley Genzlinger third at 126. Chester Area had Lane Hess place sixth at 145. 

Meanwhile, Kingsbury County hosted their Invite on Saturday. They finished fourth, Sioux Valley was 11th and Flandreau 15th.

Individual highlights include, Kingsbury County with Gavin Holland capturing the title at 170, Alec Dobson second at 138, Dylan Zell third at 120 and Matthew Stefferson third at 132. Sioux Valley had David Knutson take runner-up honors at the 126 weight class.
