McCook/Miner erupted for a 20-3 win over Colton on Tuesday night in Legion play, ending the game in three innings. Scoring eight runs in the first, three more in the second and nine in the third led to the win for the visitors. Tyce Ortman and Tanner Jacobsen each drove in three runs, all starters scored at least a run and had a hit. The two sides will square off again next Monday in Salem.

Humboldt/Hartford scored four runs in the seventh inning to build a 6-2 advantage and held on for a 6-5 win over Garretson in Humboldt on Tuesday night. Tied at two, Landry Knight drove in two runs in the seventh, to take the lead for good for the hosts. Knight would drive in three on the night, while teammate Cooper Maras had two hits and drove in a pair. Caden Ideker pitched an inning in relief of starter Loren Jacobson and got the win. Humboldt/Hartford is now 10-7 on the season and will be at Colton tomorrow night.

Landon Ruesink went four for five at the plate, drove in three runs and scored twice to lead Dell Rapids to a win over Tea in non-league action. Dell Rapids pounded out 14 hits and scored twice in the top of the sixth inning to end the game in six. A trio of players had two RBIs for Dells. Brady Larson pitched all six innings, scattering six hits while striking out six and walking just one. Now at 5-6, Dell Rapids Legion will be back in action tonight, hosting Volga.
