All-State Boys Basketball teams announced

Two Howard High School boys basketball players have been honored as members of the 2021 South Dakota All-State Class B Basketball Team.  Howard Senior Sam Aslesen was named 1st Team All-State, and Senior Tisyn Spader was named 2nd Team.  

Two players from the State “B” Champion DeSmet Bulldogs were also named All-State.  Junior Kalen Garry of DeSmet was selected to the First Team All-State, and Junior Rett Osthus was selected to the Second Team. 

Connor Libis, a Senior from Dell Rapids St. Mary’s, was also named to the First Team All-State Class “B” team.

On the Class “A” All-State Boys Basketball First Team this year from our area is Oliver Vincent of Sioux Valley, a sophomore, and Senior Colin Rentz of Dell Rapids.  

Junior Tash Lunday of Flandreau was named Second Team All-State and Senior Kelton Vincent from Sioux Valley was also selected to the Second Team.
