Battling in region play last night, the Humboldt/Hartford Legion team slipped by Madison with a 7-6 win. It was a back and forth affair, as Madison led by a run going into the sixth inning. H/H would score a run in the sixth to tie the game, thanks to a Cooper Maras RBI single, then got the go ahead run in the seventh inning. Madison would put the game-tying run on in the bottom of the seventh, but a strikeout and ground-out ended the contest. Ryan Healy collected three hits and drove in four runs for Humboldt/Hartford – Madison was led by Logan Albee, who reached base twice and scored two runs. Micah Warrington picked up the win in three plus innings of relief and Ashton Nills took the loss.
